THEORY OF EVERYTHING.
TIME, THE UNIFYING FORCE OF THE UNIVERSE
Through this short essay, the author, a graduate in Fundamental Chemistry from the University of Seville, tries to respond to one of the great challenges that modern science has been dragging on since the past century. Aided by simple yet profound reasoning, the author illustrates how the universe is governed by one single force and one single sense.
Following the development of a law that unites time and energy in the same principle, we could find ourselves in a new moment of science. A new door of study could be open and …
Since ancient times warriors have existed, but few are the ones that
comprehend what a Warrior is and the true Art of War. Those with a Warrior's
Soul will recognize these Principles…
Even today there remains a lot of stigma attached to suicide. But as tragic as the act itself may be, for every one person who commits suicide, there are many others left behind. The Continuing Ripples of Living Beyond Suicide tells the stories of people who have lost someone to suicide. Author Kaylene Donohue is all too familiar with this tragic phenomenon and the kind of pain and suffering it inflicts on the living. Having lost her first cousin, younger brother, and even three of her own children to suicide, Kaylene, like many of those left behind, struggled to pick …
Doesn’t everyone need Wisdom and Enlightenment in the 21st Century? Throughout life, an independent mind is usually interested in two ever-burning questions: What is truth and what is good? Both these pursuits have been monopolized, first by science and then by religion. Every institution eventually becomes soulless and ossified, as well as tyrannical over the freedom of mind and soul. Nothing can be taken for granted. Every one of us must keep asking, "What is truth and what is good?" We must not halt at our current stage of understanding. There is always more to learn, whether it is knowledge …
Everyone is confused at the magnificence and madness of human behaviour, yet the mental profession fails to help us understand it. We know about body organs and limbs, but little about our minds, mental illness and human behaviour. The Origins of Human Behaviour is written in plain English to help us understand how we evolve into the person we become. It sets out to find and explain the major influences, and demonstrates that the origins of human behaviour contain some genuine surprises. Just what are the origins of our myriad personal qualities? Author Bernard Rourke never accepted that living in …
Lectio Divina as a Ladder towards God is a theological work of re-sourcement. As suggested by the word itself, re-sourcement is a return to applying theology to the original sources found in Christianity, namely Scripture, Tradition, the Church Fathers (i.e., Patristics), and Apostolic Teachings. Lectio divina is, therefore, an ancient practice of prayer and hermeneutics with its roots in early Hellenistic Christian and Jewish traditions which takes us directly to the heart of the Christian tradition by drinking directly from the fresh spring of God’s living Word. Consequently, the author articulates this tradition in three parts. Examining this influential history, …
Commonly accepted, the conventional ionic model has been used for almost one century to describe inorganic solids in terms of cation-centred anionic polyhedrons.
Unfortunately, the model is unable to either describe or understand why inorganic compounds adopt the structures they have.
In this book, the author exposes the limitations of the ionic model and proposes new concepts, like the relation between oxidation and pressure and the extended Zintl-Klemm concept combined with Hoffmann's isolobality concept, hypervalency and the equivalence between electrons pairs and anions,to obtain a much deeper understanding of the structures of inorganic.
The experimental data discussed along the text under the light …
Tea Party Resurgence highlights the escalating problems associated with the growing U.S. federal debt and how it affects all Americans. The issues and recommendations discussed will appeal to all Americans concerned about the country we will be leaving our future generations and the burdens we are inflicting on them with our current reckless spending. At the core of the book, several principles are considered for inclusion into future Tea Party principles that will appeal to a greater number of Americans on both sides of the political spectrum. This is a hard-hitting indictment of establishment politicians on Capitol Hill, who refuse …
