From Esalen to Pune, Osho and the Path of Humanistic Transpersonal Psychology Experiential
Vikrant A. Sentis

This book fills a great void existing, until now, in the description and understanding of the history of modern psychology. It sheds light on one of the most unknown and least assumed aspects of the historical development of humanistic-transpersonally oriented psychotherapy, by exposing, in a systematic and adequately documented way, the details of the development of therapeutic processes, the personal stories of the pioneers of the Human Potential Movement and the, in many ways, profound impact that Osho (also known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh) had on hundreds of psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists between the 1970s and 1990s. Numerous of the most …

Diseased existents or existent diseases?
Diseased existents or existent diseases?
Walter Lips Castro

This book aims to cover both the ontological determination and the characterization of what we call with terms such as disease and others related. The current edition is a more complete version of the first edition in Spanish that was published four years ago. In this edition, both semantic and gnoseological as well as ontological issues have been developed in more detail and depth. The foregoing is due to the fact that we could establish the meaning of the disease concept based on its explicit ontological reference, namely, the question about the existence of disease. Furthermore, to achieve that aim, …

He visto salir el sol en invierno / I have seen the sun come out in winter.

Lectio Divina: A Ladder towards God A Patristic Approach to the Scripture
Lectio Divina: A Ladder towards God A Patristic Approach to the Scripture
Dempsey Rosales Acosta

Lectio Divina as a Ladder towards God is a theological work of re-sourcement. As suggested by the word itself, re-sourcement is a return to applying theology to the original sources found in Christianity, namely Scripture, Tradition, the Church Fathers (i.e., Patristics), and Apostolic Teachings. Lectio divina is, therefore, an ancient practice of prayer and hermeneutics with its roots in early Hellenistic Christian and Jewish traditions which takes us directly to the heart of the Christian tradition by drinking directly from the fresh spring of God’s living Word. Consequently, the author articulates this tradition in three parts. Examining this influential history, …
